Modern Roofing (Scotland) Ltd was formed in Lanarkshire, Scotland in 2007. The company has expanded from a small flat roofing contractor specialising in single-ply membranes, to a level where it can fill the needs of most projects, but still retain the competitive pricing of a small contractor. The continued hands-on involvement in the day to day operation by the business owner ensures Modern Roofing remain a financially stable, reputable company, working to the highest of standards.
Modern Roofing's field of expertise has progressed over the years, a large part of the business is now in the modernisation, repair and maintenance of roofs on commercial and industrial properties, utilising single-ply membranes, liquid-applied waterproofing and metal cladding. Modern Roofing also provide a range of associated roofing services including electronic roof integrity testing and leak detection.
Whilst the company has developed enduring commercial relationships with some of Scotland's most well known companies, Modern Roofing remain happy to take on small works with the same commitment and attention as our larger projects. We are delighted to bring the experience and expertise gained in the commercial sector to the domestic market and can be found carrying out works to home extensions and garage roofs.
Modern Roofing invest in advanced waterproofing technology and pride themselves in the proactive partnerships they have formed with the leading roof system manufacturers. Our membranes come with 35 year BBA durability certificates and guarantees.
A commitment to move with the times has resulted in a modern, health and safety aware and highly trained workforce. Modern Roofing do not sub-contract projects to less qualified contractors. Only directly employed tradesmen are utilised, which has resulted in a high level of workmanship and quality. Over the years Modern Roofing have built a core of tradesmen that are not only highly trained but friendly, helpful and customer focused.
Modern Roofing have achieved a level of certification to allow inclusion into the UK's largest government register of construction contractors. Modern Roofing being accredited means customers can have confidence that we have been vetted and meet all of the pre-qualification requirements appropriate to private and public sector procurement.
